EndNote Filters

What is a filter?

EndNote Import Filters allow you to import references from databases or any text file into EndNote. A filter is a mechanism used by EndNote to interpret each piece of text within the fields of a record and place it in the correct EndNote library field.

As each database offered by the various information providers has its own way of organizing reference data, there needs to be a different filter for each database.

To successfully import records correctly from a saved database search directly into EndNote, the correct filter is required.

EndNote Filter Library

This library contains a collection of filters that are either not included in the EndNote program, or have been updated to coincide with database providers changes to database interfaces. All Filters from this site are Macintosh compatible.
